My windshield is cracked, do i need replacement?
Not necessarily, most think that once your windshield has cracked, it has to be replaced. We can actually repair some cracks and keep them from spreading.
What are the benefits of repairing versus replacement?
There are many benefits for repairing your windshield. The biggest is cost, most cracks can be repaired at a fraction of what it would cost to replace. Most windshields have sensors in them so those will also have to be re-calibrated once replaced. Another benefit is that you keep your factory seal intact. Once you take apart the factory seal you may experience wind noise, rust or leaks.
Will I still see the crack? Will it be weaker than the rest of the glass?
The goal of any repair is to stop the crack from spreading. You will still see some sort of hairline scar where the crack was but it will be fully repaired. The area where the crack was will be stronger than ever.
