Windshield Rock Chip Repair FAQ

I got a rock chip in my windshield, is my windshield going to break or leak water?
First off don't panic. Your windshield is made up of 3 layers, 2 layers of glass with a polyvinyl butyral (PVB) layer in between. This middle layer will prevent the glass from shattering and water leaking into the vehicle. But you should call us soon as possible to avoid the chip turning into a crack.

Is there anything I can do to keep it from getting worse?
